If you read my Blogs and my About page you will read about my HUGE LOVE for music of ALL kinds. On this website you can click on samples of me singing a variety of styles of artists who influenced me. But right here on the Home page, it’s very important to me to dedicate my PERSONAL TRIBUTE to two artists who were heavy influences in both my vocals and my life. They are pretty much at opposite ends of the musical spectrum, but still both have been inspirational and influential to me in different ways. I am paying my heartfelt tribute to Johnny Cash and The Bee Gees.

Johnny Cash was a master of “Story Songs”! His delivery of spoken/sung songs was sheer perfection. He also was a great writer and his voice had such a presence to it you couldn’t help but want to listen when he sang. I feel that he influenced me in my writing and performance of Liquid Gold because he helped make fun story songs like this ‘possible’ and proved that a lot of people enjoy them; and that gave me the drive to pursue recording it. I chose to sing Ring of Fire as my tribute to the great, Mr. Cash.

I, like much of the world, am deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Robin Gibb of The Bee Gees. My parents are big fans and I heard a lot of The Bee Gees’ music in our home growing up. I immediately latched onto them as a young fan and always had fun singing their fantastic songs! In my many adult years of singing in clubs, their songs were the most requested out of the big variety of artists in my sets! People LOVE them, and I do as well! My condolences and accolades go out to this phenomenal group of writers, singers and performers. My tribute song that I sang is Love So Right, and I pray I did it the justice they deserve.
